C2M Partnership

and Alliance Preservation
Green Initiatives
In strategic alliance with C2M, Alliance Preservation are developing new hybrid reclaimed materials to form a range of building materials and displacement of sand and cement in damp proofing. New products using this material are being developed for underground waterproofing and structural flood defence systems.
A range of nanotechnology inventions are being jointly developed and launched to revolutionise many aspects of the construction industry and internal building environments to provide remote computer controlled monitoring systems and to counter radon gas and toxins.
Plasterboard displacement
Plasterboard is one of the worlds most polluting products. High firing of the lime to make lightweight gypsum encased in paper requires large amounts of energy and water. The product cannot be disposed of safely after use unless reprocessed for very limited range of uses.
Alliance Preservation have developed a plasterboard and sand cement displacement and replacement product in order to reduce carbon emissions and meet conservation requirements. Local authority and government carbon reduction requirements can be easily exceeded when tendering for works using these materials.

ISSE Validation service for failed and orphan guarantees.
Selling your house ? You find your original service provider has gone out of business ?
The Institute of Specialist Surveyors and Engineers can help. A trained and qualified surveyor can inspect work undertaken by others where the service provider has become insolvent or simply disappeared. Often the work may not have failed - even if the guarantee has. Should this be the case and you still possess the original documentation the ISSE surveyor can confirm no work is required even if the guarantee is invalid. This should satisfy all lenders. An inspection fee is payable and a documentation fee to provide the validation report. In the case of no documentation being available but you know the company has ceased trading then a new set of ISSE standard documentation can be completed with validation letter. A documentation fee will be payable. No new guarantee is created by the ISSE - if the work is satisfactory the chances are no future work will be necessary thus a guarantee would be not be required.
Should the original work be defective then the ISSE surveyor can refer you to an ISSE contractor who can provide a quotation to undertake those works which can then be provided with the contractors guarantee and for an additional fee with a back up guarantee provided by the ISSE. Thus avoiding orphan guarantees in the future.
The ISSE has re launched its approved contractor scheme. Alliance Preservation as a founder member of the scheme is to launch the service on behalf of the ISSE in Newcastle in July. New works undertaken by ISSE approved companies can be subject to conditional warranties endorsed by the Institute.
